Today was a very exiting day. It was great to build our own composter. I was surprised that a composter actually has a system. You can’t just throw everything on a heap, because the order of the individual layers is very important.I think everyone with a garden should have their own composter. Because humus is like recycling, you eat the banana and you take the peel for fertilise your plans. So you don’t have to waste anything. Today we also produced our own fertiliser. It was very interesting and the best thing is, that it’s not even difficult. You just have to cut your plans or fruits in small pieces and mix them with the same amount of brown sugar. After that you just have to wait 1-2 Weeks until you can fertilise your plans.(1 tbsp. for 5l water) This simple recipe allows plants to grow twice as fast.
