Human meat against climate change?

We have a group chat for our project and recently one of the members sent a picture depicting a sandwich with parts of a Barbie doll sticking out of it. The caption said something along the lines of: „Swedish scientist suggest eating human meat to solve climate crisis.“. Of course at first I doubted, that that was even said by any scientist, but as I started talking about the post with the person who posted it, I started thinking of more and more pro cannibalism arguments. Even if I’d never consider eating human flesh, some interesting arguments came to mind. For example, I thought about the possibility of a status similar to an organ donor. Simply put, you could sign a form and after you die, you get processed into meat products. If a good amount of people register for it, considering the amount of people, that die in a day, it could make a difference. At the end we concluded, that that won’t be happening anywhere in the near future, mostly because the majority of people will never be able to consciously eat human meat, even if the people being eaten, have consented beforehand. A much better and more realistic option, is incorporating more insects into our diets, to replace some of the meat, that we’re eating.
