During the visit of our German friends in South Africa, I had a great opportunity to learn new things and establish new connections with amazing people who all have diverse backgrounds. Our time together was filled with exciting activities, such as diving into the world of permaculture gardening, which is an better approach to gardening that uses other plants to combat pests and protect precious vegetables. Moreover, we went on a memorable trip to Robben Island, where our knowledgeable tour guide educated us on the harsh realities faced by the prisoners of the island. The dinner that followed our visit was a very memorable moment for me, and I will never forget the thrilling experience of surfing aswell. I am eagerly looking forward to reuniting with our German friends in their home country, where I am confident that we will create many more wonderful memories over our two-week stay.
